Quidditch Highlights

So, Midd Blog didn’t make it to the Intercollegiate Quidditch World Cup (all work and no play when you are a senior). But have no fear, Midd Blog has pictures here.

First,  my favorite Quidditch uniform. I want one.

The coveted World Cup, all 1.75 Liters of it:

Action shot! P.S. Look at the size of the crowd! Quidditch is kind of a big deal.

This guy is so, “Hello, I am a dog and I love Quidditch.”

Our friends from Vassar

They are the champions, they are the champions! No time for losers, ’cause they are the champions — of Quidditch.

Looks like a good time was had by all. Maybe I’ll start reading Harry Potter. Maybe.

Very cool. I was interested in whether or not you had a tentative rulebook or guidelines…? Please drop me an email at lieran at gmail dot com

Wow. this is incredibly amazing. Like Heather, I was wondering if you had some more information on how you play. I know how the people at Portus play, in the water, and me and my friends would love to come up with a version of our own. Just for fun. An email would be appreciated! slytherinwrockstar11 at yahoo dot com

  3. Like others, I’m also looking for more information on Middlebury’s version of Quidditch, but I can’t seem to find anything besides the recent slew of news articles. At Penn State, we have our own version of the game, but we’re always looking for ways to improve our rules. Could you give me any more details, or pass my e-mail along to someone who could?

    Thanks!

Hello Ladies! I have forwarded your comments to Alex Benepe, the primary organizer of Midd Quidditch. If you’d like, you can e-mail him at abenepe at middlebury dot edu. I’m sure he would love to hear from you!
