People magazine online has the skinny on none other than Hermione’s (Emma Watson) college search. According to the article, Watson says, “There are excellent universities over there [in the U.S.] and I’m applying at the moment.” She goes on to say, “If I go to America, I would do a liberal arts program.”
Woah now. Let’s just be clear that MiddBlog covered the rumor of her coming here waaay before she was even ready to apply to college. But now, it’s for real…
Does Middlebury have a shot at the Harry Potter co-star? MiddBlog just hopes she visits on the weekend of the Middlebury-invitational International Qudditch World Cup scheduled for Oct. 25-26 on Battell Beach which already has a rumored ten outside schools coming in to compete.

I wonder if she knows about quidditch? I wonder if there’s any possibility she DOESN’T know about it. Unlike the anonymous and therefore polite poster above, it’d be SICK to have her here that weekend!

I am concerned that Midd Blog has missed the latest doings of Ms. Watson: the Harry Potter star has gone Ivy League in her college search. See this report in the Yale Daily News of her visit to that university. Apparently, she also visited Harvard and Brown.
