Quidditch World Cup Teams Announced!

It’s Quidditch time! Oct. 25-26 will bring sheer mania to this campus. 13 schools will be competing against Middlebury for the second annual Quidditch World Cup.  Those teams are:

Vassar College
Amherst College
Green Mountain College
Carlow College
Emerson College
Chestnut Hill College
Boston University
University of Massachusetts
University of Rochester
New Paltz University
McGill University
University of Washington
Lousiana State University

    Is the public allowed to come and watch the tournament?

  2. The public is not only allowed but encouraged to come to Middlebury College both on the 25th for the Middlebury rounds and 26th of October for the actual world cup. Competitions take place on Battell Beach, at the center of campus.

    I’m a chaser from LSU.

    We didn’t get funding for the trip. It was rejected. We’re trying to raise as much money as we can so we don’t have to pay too much out-of-pocket.

    Ready or not, here we come.

    let it be known.. that the University of Rochester is not the attending team.

    the organizer, myself, attends the UofR, but the team I am taking is a club team from Buffalo: Ive’s Pond Quidditch Club
