Alex Benepe ’09 Runner Up for PRWeek’s Promotional Event of the Year

Alex Benepe ’09 has been declared the runner up for PRWeek’s Promotional Event of the Year Award for his role in promoting Quidditch effectively on Facebook and an assortment of mainstream media outlets, including CBS, MTV, ESPN, the Boston Globe, and the Gawker. I also seem to recall reading about Alex on Page Six.

Some might say it was a pie-in-the-sky dream that Alex would win, but those in the know say Alex “winning anything at the event against the pros seems to be . . . solid evidence of the power of a liberal arts education.” Hear, hear.
