Welcome back campers!

It’s Labor Day. And I’m in school. I don’t understand.

However, even in my 8AM Monday grogginess, I can appreciate the fact that this year’s not going to disappoint. Here’s why:

MiddBlog has new editors! Over the summer, MiddBlog brought 6 new editors on board–John Scribton, Beth Connolly, Robert LaMoy, Tika Mody, Casey Mahoney, and Mackenzie Beer–and will be accumulating a few more as the 2009-2010 school gets started. Go to our Editorial Team page to learn a little more about these fantastic people.

MiddBlog has a friend! MiddBlog and The Campus (Midd’s weekly student-run newspaper) are going to be working more closely this school year in order to bring more up-to-date and in-depth student issue coverage to both publications. And, um, PS, the Campus will soon have a new website. MiddBlog got a sneak peek, and it’s pretty sweet.

MiddBlog is social! Since its inception, MiddBlog has done it’s best to accumulate a presence in every sort of social network worth having a presence on. So, whether you’re a new or loyal follower, you’re sure to find a way to keep tabs on us. You can become a fan of our page on Facebook. You can also follow us (and most of our editors) on Twitter as @middblog. Also, if you’re on Twitter as well, be sure to sign up in Midd’s Twitterverse so you can see who else from Middlebury uses the service. And, to stay in top of our content without always having to go to the site, you can subscribe to our content and comments via RSS. (Although, this could be unnecessary if you follow us on Twitter.)

Now off to class.
