Middlebury Quidditch Team Does Not Qualify for World Cup

Middlebury’s Quidditch team did not do well enough in the Northeast Regional Championship this weekend to qualify for the Quidditch World Cup VI, which will be held on April 13-14, 2013 in Kissimmee, FL.

This came as a shock to many, as Middlebury has won every World Cup in history up to this date (five total), including a close World Cup last year. Middlebury had never even lost a game before last year’s World Cup. Here are some reactions on Twitter:
