SNOW DAY!!!

Well, power-outage-caused-by-snow day.  Still, classes were cancelled until noon (and sometimes after).  I took a walk around campus to see what MiddKids were up to, and it looks like we’re just as obsessed with being productive as always… except today, “being productive” involved building a lot of stuff out of snow.

Snow Expected in Vermont Tomorrow!

snow path by Paul-W (Used under Creative Commons)

The Weather Channel is reporting that some parts of Vermont– namely those parts above 1,000 feet– are expected to receive snow on Tuesday:

Showers will speckle much of the northeastern U.S. tomorrow as a cold front sweeps eastward through the region. The most numerous and heaviest showers will dampen Upstate New York and northern New England. … Meanwhile, late tomorrow and tomorrow night, a cold upper-air low will help change the rain showers to snow showers over the Adirondacks and mountains of northern New England. In fact, a few inches of accumulation are possible in locations above 1000 feet.
